Description:The unity of music, speech, and movement is the content and meaning of the arts of music and ‘orchesis’ in the ancient Greek civilization, and is also common phenomenon in the musical and dance traditions of the peoples. Orff-Schulwerk, inspired by ancient Greek concepts, draws significantly from various cultural traditions, making it a widely used method in music and dance pedagogy. During teaching, orality and teamwork are utilized with the aim of enhancing both group and individual expressiveness and creativity of individuals of all ages.
