
Mermaiding – Applied Mermaid Tail Swimming Seminar

Description: Mermaiding is a combination of swimming techniques, acrobatic figures from artistic swimming, apnea, “magic” and mermaid tail costumes. The primary skill is a full-body wave movement known as dolphin kicking.
The objectives of the seminar for participants are:
- to get an up-close look at the biggest trend in recreational swimming, mermaiding,
- to define details in the theoretical part regarding mermaid tail swimming, the age groups it targets, the responsibilities of the instructor, as well as the characteristics of the activity and the venue,
- to connect theory with practical application through a comprehensive lesson,
- to familiarize with the equipment and train in the basic exercises of mermaiding.
Special Requirements:
- Pool equipment (swimsuit, swim cap, flip flops, bathrobe or towel). Fins will be provided by the workshop instructor.
- Participation in the practical part is mandatory.

In addition to the main Congress activities, attendees have the opportunity to participate in specialized workshops. These workshops offer in-depth training and hands-on experiences with experts in the field.
